From a former hospital employee

I am very much aware of this group in my role of orthotic/prosthetic manager at Blackburn Royal Infirmary - in my capacity of supplier of breast prostheses to many of the ladies involved in the Group.

I am very impressed with the care, concern and support shown to both newly diagnosed patients and existing patients; also their interest in holistic/homeopathic therapies.

The group offers friendly, positive support to women who have been diagnosed and treated with breast cancer or who are concerned about breast problems.

The atmosphere at the monthly meetings is very special. All are made welcome - members and visitors alike. The meetings can be informative and stimulating - or just for fun and friendship.

The friendships formed and the outreach support of one for another is amazing - not just at the meetings but between individuals as a result of the meetings and the friendships so formed.
